Teacher Bootcamp at Reggio

THE WORKSHOP LEADING PLAYBASED LEARNING ADVOCATES IN EVOLVING EDUCATION | 

Are you ready for a transformative (and finally relevant) professional development experience? Join us for the Teacher Bootcamp at Reggio & Co., located in Hunt Valley, MD, from August 28th to September 1st from 9-12PM. This weeklong workshop is specially curated for leaders, educators, advocates, researchers, interns, colleagues, parents, friends, and difference-makers in the field of education.

Our mission is to provide content to this niche group of educators, helping to evolve education and prioritize learning processes in child development. Led by esteemed experts in the field, including Candice Schoolman, CEO of Reggio & Co., Director Kevin Hernandez of Reggio & Co., and Educational Researcher Lanise Stevenson from Johns Hopkins, the bootcamp promises an immersive learning experience like no other.

Each day of the bootcamp will focus on a different objective and topic, designed to empower participants with practical tools and strategies to enhance their teaching practices. Topics will include:

DAY ONE+mastering the fundamentals of the Reggio Emilia Pedagogy

DAY TWO+extending a child's play to meet age-appropriate developmental goals

DAY THREE+responding to big behaviors

DAY FOUR+embracing the role of the Respectful Educator

DAY FIVE+leveraging everyday tools for advocacy

Daily certificates will be awarded at the end of each three-hour course, recognizing the dedication and commitment of our participants.

Not only will this summit be a valuable learning opportunity, but it will also serve as a platform for networking with professionals in the education industry. The open forum and interactive lessons will create opportunities to collaborate and impact one another positively, fostering a sense of community and shared passion for child development.

This in-person summit takes place within a Reggio Emilia inspired school, allowing participants to experience real environments and materials that support knowledge acquisition. We wholeheartedly welcome diverse perspectives and roles of caregivers and educators to ensure we collectively evolve essential components of education.
